Virtual Therapy for Clients Across Licensed States
Discovering Bliss Counseling provides virtual therapy services for individuals and couples located in states where the practice and clinicinas are licensed to practice.
All services are delivered through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms and are available to clients who are physically located in an approved state at the time of service.
Currently Licensed States
Therapy sservices are provided to clients located in:
- Washington, DC
- Virginia (VA)
- Texas (TX)
- Pennsylvania (PA)
- Florida (FL)
- Hawaii (HI)
Clients must be physically located in one of these states at the time of their session.
How Virtual Therapy Works
Virtual therapy allows clients to:
- access care from the comfort of home
- maintain consistency while traveling within licensed states
- receive private, secure, and convenient support
- engage in therapy without geographic limitations
Virtual sessions are conducted with the same level of professionalism, structure, and care as in-person therapy.
Couples & Individual Therapy Across States
State licensure applies to both individuals and couples. As long as both partners (or the individual client) are physically located in a licensed state at the time of the session, therapy services may proceed.
If partners are in different states, eligibility is determined during consultation.
Planning to Add Additional States
Licensure expansion is ongoing.
If you are located in a state not currently listed, you are welcome to inquire about:
- future availability
- alternative resources
- on-demand or educational offerings that do not require licensure
Why State Licensure Matters
Therapy licensure laws are set at the state level.
Clinicians practice in accordance with:
- professional licensing regulations
- ethical standards
- telehealth laws and scope of practice requirements
This ensures care that is legally compliant, ethical, and clinically sound.
Not Located in a Licensed State?
If you are not currently located in a licensed state, you may still have access to:
- educational resources
- guided on-demand programs
- relationship courses
- workshops or non-clinical offerings
